2019新型冠狀病毒（2019-nCoV）疫情嚴峻，日本首相安倍晉三今天說，有必要讓台灣參加世界衛生組織（WHO），否則難以防疫。
中國湖北省武漢市的2019新型冠狀病毒疫情嚴峻，日本目前有11個確診病例。
日本共同社報導，安倍今天說，應該排除政治立場，否則包含區域全體很難維持健康及防止疫情擴散，強調有必要讓台灣參加世界衛生組織。報導說，安倍是考慮到中國的作法才說出此話。武漢肺炎疫情嚴峻，台灣卻被排除在世界衛生組織的會議之外。
厚生勞動省表示，日本已有沒去過武漢的人感染新型冠狀病毒，研判這種病毒在境內有人傳人的情況。
因應武漢肺炎，世界衛生組織自22日起一連2天在日內瓦召集緊急委員會，未邀台灣專家。日本駐台代表泉裕泰24日說，為避免防疫對策發生漏洞，日本繼續支持台灣以觀察員身分參加世界衛生大會（WHA）。 （中央社東京30日專電）
